Design, All Around

I guess the amount of design I appreciate at this point in my daily life has grown exponentially, due to the teachings of my class. The readings help in applying and connecting our projects to daily life, and I appreciate that. So here are some items that I noticed as either good design, or unique inspirations.

I found this door on the back of a business in an alleyway while out and about. It's a shame that you can only see it if you take the road less traveled, because I love it.

This is a Mary Kay perfume owned by my mom. I love it so much, it's beautiful and slides open on a hinge to reveal perfume powder. My mother has good taste and my father has good ears. :)

I saw this at a dance, it's a bow tie on a stick! What a neat idea! And not difficult to make either.
