Test Collage #3

With the re-design from Tuesday, I experimented with making the eyes match up in pairs on the grid layout I had for them. My favorite aspect is that the only two that match up, if you look at them together apart from the entire grid, are cross-eyed.

Test Collage #2

We needed two collages for class after spring break, and they only needed 15-20 photographs... However, I went a little overboard. Not necessarily a bad thing, they turned out quite well and gave me great ideas as far a direction goes... So here they are!

More Inspirations from Pinterest

As I have said before, one of my favorite and one of the easiest ways to find new design inspirations is by browsing my home feed on Pinterest. It's slightly addictive, I suppose, but it gets the creative juices flowing, and I consider that a worthy trade. So here are some of my latest finds.

Design Critique Notes and Potential Re-Design Ideas

The first of these two pictures are the critique notes from my classmates, ideas and improvements for the concepts I'm choosing to go with.

These are the two concepts I would like to use for my next photo collages.

Test Collage Concepts

In class we are working on photo collages, and we need four test collages of concepts... I had waaaay more than four plausible ideas, but I decided not to bite off more than I could chew this time, so here are the four concepts I chose:

The skyline from my window...

My facepaint progression...

 Origami processes...

And a unique opportunity that popped up, a birthday celebration food table...

Photo Collage Scenario #5: Skyline of Campus from Dorm Window

This view is not only dynamic, it is definitive of the Lawrence spirit. It is beautiful at all times of the day, but here I have documented my two favorite times, the nighttime view and sunrise.

Incase You Wanted To See The Actual Process... In Real Time.

I was going for a Phoenix with this face.. Eh, I could've stopped earlier and been fine.

Photo Collage Scenario #4: Drawing/Painting in Progress

This particular type of collage would have a lot of potential, the one I did here is merely a small scale rendition to demonstrate the idea.
